The main objective of our committee is to manage the affairs of the Association and meet the needs of our members.

Committee members are nominated and seconded by fellow members of the Association and must remain financial members of the Association during their term in the committee.  They hold office for 4 years after they have been elected.  
 
The Committee must meet at least 3 times in each 12 month period.  These meetings can take place face to face or via an online meeting service such as Zoom.

At these meetings, we discuss what has been happening between meetings.  For example correspondence received, what payments have been received or made and our membership numbers.  We also discuss conference planning, new initiatives, and any points of interest about our sector that may directly affect our educators for example, the clarification of the National Regulations and National Law.
